There’s a difference between decorating a home and being home. There is a point when we ‘come home’ and fill our home with our energy, our lifestyle, our nature. It involves both the silent and the active part of us; meditative introspection and dynamic creativity.
We want our home to reflect our uniqueness. We want it to be completely comfortable and naturally ‘us’. When we fill that home with our energy, it fills with our power and vibrations. Then we immerse ourselves in that deliciousness every minute – we are home. It arises from the stillness of our reflective time and from the activities we engage in.
When we engage in meditation, yoga, contemplation, prayer, chanting, or essential silence, whatever form resonates with us, we fill the air with a foundational energy that grounds us. When we express our creativity, we fill a space with an active energy that holds the essential movement of creation itself. When we crochet, bake, garden, paint, sew, write or throw a pot on a wheel, we energize the air with our creative spark.
Both the stillness and its active expressions create our atmosphere; natural to us, essentially uplifting and supportive to us. It all adds up and allows us to feel, in every moment, that we have come home. In effect, we are energizing our home. Coming home is basically entering our atmosphere that we have created and allowing the passive and active sides of us to add to the ever-increasing energetic beauty of home.
